Escaping God’s Wrath
I started publishing articles I’ve written since 2010. I have had several Blogs over the years, but my main Blog is on WordPress. It is there you can access just about everything I have written. *The purpose behind my writing is derived from 1 Tim 2:3-5
3 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 who would have all men to be saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God, one mediator also between God and men, (himself) man, Christ Jesus,

God wants all people to be saved and know the truth. Getting “saved” is the easy part. Coming unto “the” knowledge of “the” truth is the hard part. There is no such thing as “my” truth or “your” truth. There is only one truth and that takes consistent, dedicated study to root out.
My focus, as of late, has been Israel. I think it is obvious why. So much of what is going on in the world today is focused on it. There is no better place to learn about Israel than from the Hebrew Prophets. Makes sense, right?
The primary Hebrew Prophet for Christians was the apostle Paul. Paul was of the tribe of Benjamin, the youngest of Jacob’s 12 sons. Paul wrote by revelation from Jesus Christ. In his first letter in the Christian Bible to the believer’s who lived in Rome, who were, for the most part former Jews, he wrote in Chapter 10 verses 9 and 10 how they could be “saved.” Saved, rescued, from what? The wrath to come; the day of God’s vengeance. Here is what he wrote:
Rom 10:9-13
“because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus (as) Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved:
10 for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be put to shame.
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek: for the same (Lord) is Lord of all, and is rich unto all that call upon him (Jesus):
13 for, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord (Jesus) shall be saved.“

This is the only way for Jews or Gentiles to be saved for eternity: through believing and confession. In Chapter 3 of Romans Paul tells us that Abraham “believed” God (not believed “in”) and for that “righteousness” was accounted to him. Not his own righteousness but God’s righteousness. What he believed, were God’s promises to him.
Rom 4:1-3
What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?
2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

You see, God is not willing that anyone should perish in the Lake of Fire. He has given us a way out. Whether or not you take it is entirely up to you. To help you make that decision he has shown us throughout both the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures what is coming upon all who choose not to believe. It is described as the Day of the LORD in the Hebrew Scriptures. Here is but 1 of the 31 times it is mentioned:
Isa 13:9-13
9 Behold, the day of YHWH cometh, cruel, with wrath and fierce anger; to make the land a desolation, and to destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light; the sun shall be darkened in its going forth, and the moon shall not cause its light to shine.
11 And I will punish the world for (their) evil, and the wicked for their iniquity: and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
12 I will make a man more rare than fine gold, even a man than the pure gold of Ophir.
13 Therefore I will make the heavens to tremble, and the earth shall be shaken out of its place, in the wrath of Jehovah of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

This is one of the more mild passages. So, when I write the things that I do, it is not to attack or disparage anyone, or any group, but it is to encourage. I am going to have a “ring-side” seat for these events and it is my desire for you to be sitting with me.
God Bless!
