Taking the Wind out of the Muslim’s Sails

Yeshua (Isa) (pbuh) instituted true worship to his Father, YHWH (pbuh) on the Day of Pentecost 50 days after he rose from the dead. It is written in Jn 4:20-24:
Our (your) fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.KJV

Anytime you read BUT anywhere, it is a time for a pause, because everything written before that word is about to be altered by everything written after it. Jesus Christ instituted TRUE UNDENIABLE WORSHIP, which is truly spiritual. On Pentecost the disciples of Yeshua spoke in the tongues of men and angels for the first time in history. (You can read about it in Acts 2.)
No one can any longer bullshit anyone else about worshipping the One True God, YHWH. The apostle Paul speaks more about it in 1 Co 14:1-5
Follow after charity, and desire spiritual (pneumatikos), 2 For he that speaketh in a tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth (what he is speaking) howbeit IN THE SPIRIT he speaketh secrets. 4 He that speaketh in a tongue edifieth himself; 5 I would that ye all spake with tongues, KJV

Speaking IN THE SPIRIT is speaking in a language that you yourself do not understand (secrets) and it is UNTO GOD. This is how a true worshipper, worships. We can praise the Lord Jesus Christ but true worshippers do so in spirit and in truth in the direction of God, the Almighty.

Allah is a false god and those who worship him are false, deceived worshipers. They are sincere in what they believe. As I have always said, Anyone can believe anything they want to, but whether it is true or not is another story. People used to believe that the world was flat

There is only one True God and he calls himself YHWH.

Water Baptism is All Washed Up

The book of The Acts of the Apostles shows the transition from the Law of Moses to the grace of God in Christ Jesus. What we should see if we have not been spiritually blinded (a lot have been and cannot see it), is that John fulfilled the purpose of his ministry according to Acts 13:25. We are told by Jesus himself in 1:5 that in the future (which is now), believers would be baptized with holy spirit, not water.

In 18:25 a married couple who were believers, named Aquila and Priscilla, took aside another believer who spoke and taught the ways of the Lord Jesus fervently, but knew only of the baptism of John. It that these two expounded to him the way of God more perfectly.

in 19 the apostle Paul found a group of disciples who did not know anything about spirit baptism (which first occurred in 2:4). He asked them if they had received the Holy Spirit since they believed. They said they had not heard that there was any such thing. Paul then asked them “unto what then are you baptized?”  They said, “John’s baptism.”  Ac 19:4-7 goes on to say:

Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.7 And all the men were about twelve. KJV

No one receives the gift of holy spirit which represents Christ in you with water baptism. This is why I say, “it is all washed up!” Our young supposedly “Pastors” are continuing in the same error that has been perpetrated by the church for centuries. This is the spirit of antichrist, to teach for faith and practice, that which is contrary to the revelation received by the apostle Paul from our Lord, Jesus Christ himself.

Paul told Timothy that many things like this would happen. I cannot believe that they who practice and teach such things do so knowing it is not the “way of God more perfectly.” 2Cor 4:4 says that many people are blind to the truth. I used to think that only applied to those who did not believe at all. Now, I know it applies to those who supposedly believe, as well.

Through the ages since Acts 2:4 cunningly devised fables have been handed down from generation to generation. These developed into “sophisms,” plausible, but fallacious arguments meant to render one wise in a sinister acceptation. They look good on the surface, but with a little digging you find they are completely erroneous. 2Ti 4:4 and 2Pe 1:16 speak of them.

I pray that all who practice false doctrine will soon see the error of their ways. It sickens me to see and hear of pastors touting the number of people they perpetrate this error upon. I heard one say recently that he was going for a Guinness Book of World Records for the number of water baptisms. People end up thinking they are saved, when they are not. What a rude awakening they may have after the Rapture, to see they are still here. It is a shame.

Sleeping

In the Old Testament when a believer died he was referred to as being asleep. This concept of death carried over to the new as well. Here it refers to those who sleep in Christ. Death is such a harsh reality that it is no wonder it is referred to throughout the Bible as being asleep; it is so much gentler and peaceful.

I don’t know about you, but I love to sleep! Yet, to those of us still living, sleep can be sort of a curse. We can’t get a lot done while we are sleeping; if we are lucky, we might wake up with a new idea, a new way to approach something we were thinking about the day before. But, with the dead there is not even that. Ecclesiastes tells us there is no reasoning or consciousness of the fact we are dead.

What we do know from the Bible is that when we, as born again believers, wake up, it will be to meet the Lord Jesus in the air with other living believers. This will be the 1st thing we will be cognizant of after we die. It may be days, weeks, years or even centuries; but we know that whenever it does occur, we will be there. This is our Hope as believers.

As far as the Old Testament saints are concerned, they will not realize this awareness until seven years later at the resurrection of the Just. A major difference between their awakening and ours is that they will go directly to the land they were promised, as their inheritance. Those involved in this event, will only be those who never had the opportunity to believe in Jesus Christ.

With the exception of the 144,000 of the twelve tribes of Israel who are sealed during the Tribulation, the only chance of having eternal life is by becoming a Christian, in accordance with Romans chapter 10.  If I were not all ready a part of the first group, there would be nothing standing in my way to procure eternal life. Sweet dreams.
